Furthermore, my experience as a Health Research Professional, coupled with Cultural Safety Training, equips me to navigate diverse health landscapes.
Having undergone Indigenous and Social Change Leadership Training at the Banff Centre for the Arts, I incorporate wisdom from Elders and teachings into my work. My extensive experience in consultation and program design with domestic and international organizations reflects my commitment to global impact.
In the realm of mental health, I bring trauma-informed counseling experience for women and youth. I have also developed an innovative unlearning and relearning model for program and workshop design, emphasizing holistic growth.
As a Singer-Songwriter and recording artist, creativity is woven into my approach. This artistic lens complements my somatic trauma-informed practices, contributing to a holistic framework for wellness and healing.
Lastly, my role as the Indigenization and Decolonization Curriculum Designer at a Northern BC, Canada Community College underscores my commitment to progressive education.
In addition to my extensive academic experience and professional accreditations, it's important to note that I am not just a consultant but a living survivor of intergenerational trauma. This lived experience, woven into the fabric of my being, holds a depth of understanding and empathy that surpasses any formal qualification.
As a survivor, I bring a profound awareness of the intricacies and resilience embedded within trauma. This personal journey adds a layer of authenticity and compassion to my work that goes beyond what can be learned in a classroom. It shapes my approach, reminding me of the human stories and emotions that underpin every strategy and program I design.
The lessons learned from overcoming intergenerational trauma inform every aspect of my consultancy. It's a testament to the strength of the human spirit and a constant reminder of the importance of creating spaces for healing and growth. This unique perspective, born out of personal triumphs and struggles, is an invaluable asset that enriches the depth and authenticity of my work.
It's important to note that in undertaking contracts, I also collaborate with a team of skilled professionals, ensuring a multifaceted and comprehensive approach to meet the unique needs of each project. This collective expertise enhances the depth and impact of our consulting services.
