"Auroara's workshop was not merely an event; it was a profound journey of self-discovery, healing, and empowerment. Through her captivating blend of music, motivational speaking, and educational insights, she created a safe and nurturing space for participants to explore the intricate connections between their voices, their hearts, and the impact of violence. Her work goes beyond the boundaries of a workshop; it is a catalyst for meaningful social change.
Thank you, Auroara, for sharing your gifts and creating a space where voices can be heard, hearts can heal, and the impact of violence can be transformed into strength"
- Amy Timleck, Vernon and District Immigrant and Community Services Society
Auroara has been key in supporting our Metis folks in BC. Through the creation of safe spaces, the use of creative expression, and integrating aspects of two-eyed seeing, Auroara creates beautiful safe spaces for folks to explore their inner workings, creative expression, and identity formation, all through a culturally grounded Metis lens. She was able to support many of our 100+ Metis participants through mental health and wellness. We will continue working with Auroara to support our Metis community members. Beautiful song, spirituality, and graciousness can begin to describe the beauty that is working with Auroara. Maarsii & Hiy Hiy for all the great work for our community members.

Auroara's session was incredibly creative and heart opening for my journey. She thought out each session, was prepared, and held such a sweet space for all of the attendees. I highly recommend Auroara's sessions to anyone looking for a transformative experience! Thank you Auroara, for eveyrthing you do!
Rob Pross - Workshop Participant
Auroara Leigh led many Métis individuals through a "Freeing Your Voice through Self Expression" workshop at our 2nd Métis Mental Health & Wellness Gathering. Attendees varied from ages 18-seniors/Elders, and came from all over "BC". Attendees left feeling inspired, challenged, opened-up, and supported holistically. Auroara went the extra mile by bringing a gift for someone who stepped out of their comfort zone during her workshop. Thank you Simply Sacred Solutions.

Compelling, inspiring and compassionate, are the first words that I think of for Auroara Leigh. I find Auroara as real, raw, and authentic as people can get. She speaks her mind, with passion, insight, and through experience. I’ve been privileged to work with her in a couple different capacities.
Auroara first messaged me after she saw Glohaven Community Hub’s and Shop First Nations, Indigenous Globox™ hit Global News. After a few inspiring conversations, we were excited and humbled to include her poetic compilation chapbook, IndigenEyes: 1Plus1 = Three, in the 2nd edition Indigenous Globox™. This tourism gift box filled with local products highlights Indigenous businesses and Biosphere Committed Companies, and it sold out across the country, passing forward the opportunity for many Canadians to read through her eyes, heart, and stories, throughout her decolonization journey.
Not just an author, Auroara is also a singer/ songwriter, an Anthropologist and a healing facilitator. She was invited to be the special guest at Vernon, BC’s award winning vintage Towne Theatre on May 2, 2022 for the Indigenous Showcase event series. During her powerful debut musical performance, she shared her stories in between her songs. She believes in uncomfortable conversations in order to find truth, and healing. I feel grateful to have learned so much from her, including interesting new words/ terms such as ‘wobbly learning’ as myself as a Caucasian, learn to walk in ‘ReconciliACTION’.
Auroara’s path as a facilitator through her gifts of experience, story, music and healing modalities is a bright one, that will undoubtedly both educate, and unlock doors for people with past traumas, and bring healing, strength and light.
